The Building of Hope Mission Statement:
Our Mission is to help people/families in our community who have fallen on tough times by providing them with new beds, bedding & pillows. Showing them the love of Christ and giving them a hand up and HOPE thru their trails.
About:
The Building Of Hope Ministry started in 2017, and we have partnered with Laskey‘s furniture in Sharon to bless families in need with new beds. Families also receive a basket of hope with toiletries, hygiene items and cleaning supplies, a daily bread devotional and an invitation to our church. Our ministry helps the working poor, single moms and dads, veterans, fire victims mentally and physically disabled. We help with the most important essential which is a bed! To date, The Building Of Hope helped 2545 families and given out almost 3000 beds to adults and children in our community who sadly lack this basic necessity.
Due to our limited budget, we rely on local grants and donations to purchase new mattresses, box springs, bed frames, sheets & comforters, pillows and basket of hope items.
On average our spending is over $1000 a week on beds and essentials due to the increase number of families in need. The purchase of beds is how the majority of our funding is used.
This ministry is essential in helping those in our community who have fallen on tough times providing beds and essentials and HOPE for a brighter tomorrow!
